I hope your weekend started great and will continue that way. I want to take this opportunity and say big thank you to everyone who visits my blog and to everyone who participates in Flowers on Saturday. Some of you may know that I am pregnant, I am just over 35 weeks, so I have still some time, however as with every child and every pregnancy it is different the date for delivery I have might change :) So if for some reason one Saturday there will be no link to join, please be patient with me and I will try to post it as soon as I will be able to. But for now and hopefully for the next five weeks there will be no surprises.
My flower for today:
So many beautiful entries last week, Grab a Favourite Photo of the week button from the side bar if you wish My three favourites were captured by:
Do you plan your weekends? It seems lately that every time I plan something it doesn't work out. So I decided not to plan and see how it will go for the next few days. There might be few surprises or not. Lets wait and see . So what about you do you plan your weekends?
Lots of beautiful photos last week and here are my three favourites ( grab the button favourite photo of the week )
What's your favourite color? As you probably noticed already I love purple. I love to add a little bit of that around me. It could be small accesories, little ornaments for my house. Flowers in my garden. I have few tops and jumpers in that color as well, but don't get me wrong, I am not that mad and I don't have everything in purple. There is plenty other colors, blue, green and yellow and of course there is pink, which girls dosn't like pink?
So here's few photos of magnets with pink and purple words....
It looks like it's another Sunday that we have rain, I am not sure if I should be happy with it or not. I am not happy as I made some plans to go and see places, and with that weather, I just don't want to move, but on the good point it gives me more time to work on my items for my ETSY shop - LILAC GIFTS
Bad weather gives me time as well to catch up on some blogs hops. So above photo I am linking today with:
Firstly I would like to thank you everyone who left lovely comment within last week. I tried to visit your blog and leave some words for you as well, but unfortunately in some cases I wasn't able. I am 33 week pregnant and at that stage it is getting to me now, I am getting tired again , so every little time I have after I come back from work I try to rest, and even take a little nap, which results then in sleepless nights, great isn't it? But there is only few weeks left and I just can't wait until this little baby arrive...
I would like to take this opportunity to say Big Thank you to CAPTIVUS , visit her blog here . Some time ago she was hosting a giveaway and I won!!!! I feel very lucky as this will come very handy while taking photos of my baby when it comes. So you can see below what was the prize. Thank you again for the opportunity to win . Captivus is hosting LETTER PHOTO CHALLENGE, so make sure to check it as well
OK , back to Flowers on Saturday. Here's my flower for today, a rose from my garden, I have to tell you I have only just one rose growing here, I am not sure why, but it looks beautiful that way, just one on its own
I was so happy when I've seen all your entries last week. I had so many favourites and again it was so hard to choose just the three photos, but here are the ones, make sure you visit:
In Ireland when you get a great weather , you just have to enjoy it, as you never know how long it will last. You might have a beautiful , hot sunny day and the next day it will be raining with cold winds, I just wish we got more of these warm spells so the kids can enjoy their time, so we can go and visit places, so we can go to the beach... Enough of this complaining, stay positive there is still plenty days in the summer , so I am sure it will be nice again.
If you have any tins lying around use them to create pencil/scissors or for all you craft tools organizer.
What you will need:
jeans material ( other fabrics)
double sided tape
small paint brush
Cut out the fabric, enough to go round the whole tin, and a circle to go on the bottom of the tin
Stick double sided tape, it will hold your material in place, no need for any glue, no mess :)
Once you peel of the tape, attach the fabric to the tin
Now , it's time to decorate them. As you can see, one of them has already design, so I will show you what I did with the tin that has plain fabric
Attach double sided tape on top, bottom, you can chooses yourself where you want it
We are going to use glitter on it. Once you peel of the white bit from the tape you are left with sticky part, use your brush to spread the glitter.
and that's how it will look when you add glitter, shake off the excess glitter
add some embellishments, I added heart cut outs
with the other tin, I attached some ribbon only
Here's another creations, it was done by my daughter
And if your child is having a party, why don't you make is as a craft project during the party. My daughters friends had lots of fun making them. They were really happy and they took all the pencil holders back home. Below you can see some photos and their creations.
